"The initial challenge was overcoming analysis paralysis. There's a lot of information in different sectors that we don't have, lots of research to be done, and the longer we take, the more of a head start we're giving our competitors," explains Owen, COO at REMU.
"We were originally skeptical about how someone who knows next to nothing about our product or the market could actually help us, but we decided to take a bit of a gamble – which we're very happy we did," shares Owen.
"The questions Marco asked were good. They focused on the challenges and what we needed to know – it was as if we were briefing him to do a research assignment for us, which is essentially what he did," notes Owen.
"It worked very well and saved us weeks, maybe a month, because doing this depth of research and having multiple people understand and agree on the right direction would have taken a long time had we done it manually ourselves," explains Owen.
"As far as return on investment, the time savings alone are easily worth what Marco charged. Having saved the money there, you're going to start making money almost immediately when you know where to go and what to chase."
